The Theodore "Ted" Thomas Entrepreneurial Scholarships

Award Amounts: $500, $500 & $1,500

The Theodore "Ted" Thomas Entrepreneurial Scholarship has been established in honor of Theodore "Ted" Thomas, a dedicated and visionary entrepreneur who made a significant impact in the fields of home improvement and beyond. These scholarships aim to support high school seniors who are aspiring entrepreneurs and are committed to pursuing a trade, a career in real estate, or any other entrepreneurial endeavor. It is a tribute to Ted's legacy and his passion for entrepreneurship.

Eligibility:

To be considered for The Theodore "Ted" Thomas Entrepreneurial Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

1. Be a high school senior graduating in the current academic year.

2. Plan to pursue a career in a trade, real estate, or any entrepreneurial field.

3. Demonstrate a strong commitment to entrepreneurship through past initiatives, projects, or other activities.

4. Have a minimum GPA of 3.0

5. Be a U.S. citizen or a legal resident.

Application Requirements:

Applicants must submit the following materials to be considered for one of the scholarships:

1. An official high school transcript.

2. A resume highlighting their entrepreneurial activities and achievements.

3. A personal statement (500-750 words) explaining their entrepreneurial goals, the significance of the scholarship, and their plans for the future.

4. Two letters of recommendation from teachers, mentors, or individuals who can speak to the applicant's entrepreneurial qualities.

Selection Process:

A scholarship committee will review all applications and select the scholarship recipients based on academic achievement, entrepreneurial commitment, and the content of the personal statement.

Scholarships Award:

The scholarship award amounts are $500, $500 & $1,500 which will be disbursed directly to the recipient's chosen educational institution to support their academic pursuits.
